[07-26-2026] Santa Clara County, CA – Woman Killed in Head-On Crash Involving Two Pickup Trucks on Bolsa Rd.

A 56-year-old Aptos woman was killed in a head-on collision involving a Ford F-150 and a Toyota pickup truck in Santa Clara County on Sunday afternoon, July 26, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:35 p.m. on Bolsa Road, north of Bloomfield Road.

When CHP officers arrived, they found the Toyota driver unresponsive inside the damaged vehicle. The woman was pronounced dead following the crash.

CHP reported that the Ford driver fled the scene after the collision but was later arrested.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
