A rider was seriously injured following a bicycle vs. vehicle collision in Sacramento County on Friday evening, July 26, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 8:00 p.m. near the 8300 block of Sunset Avenue in Fair Oaks.
Authorities stated that a bicyclist, whose name, age, and gender were not disclosed, was on the road when, for some reason, they were struck by an unspecified vehicle. The cyclist sustained major injuries, but their current condition remains unclear.
