Three people were hospitalized following a crash in San Francisco’s Mission District on Sunday night, July 19, 2026.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers on patrol near Mission Dolores Park observed a vehicle with five occupants driving erratically around 8 p.m.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued driving dangerously, nearly colliding with a responding police car.
The vehicle ultimately crashed near the intersection of 14th Street and South Van Ness Avenue, striking another vehicle. The collision caused the second vehicle to hit a fire hydrant and a nearby business. A black sedan crashed into the glass windows of an Audi dealership, with a gray pickup truck damaged across the street.
Two occupants of the erratic vehicle were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, and a third person from the other vehicle sustained less serious injuries. Police have not released the identities of the individuals involved.
The investigation is ongoing.
What A Lawyer Can Do For You
Many victims put off calling a lawyer even if they sustain injuries after an accident. However, lawyers can help you in many ways. They can provide you with police reports, CCTV footage, and witness statements to strengthen your case. Your attorney will also negotiate with insurance companies to get you fair compensation. The best part is that they will do all of these things for you at no upfront cost. So if you’re injured in an accident, hire a personal injury attorney to recover medical bills, car repair costs, lost wages, and pain and suffering.
