[07-19-2024] Two People Injured After Vehicle Crashed Into Medical Building in Pismo BeachTwo people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a medical building in Pismo Beach on Friday afternoon, July 19, 2024.

According to Cal Fire, the incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. at the Five Cities Medical Imaging along North Oak Park Boulevard.

Authorities said that an unspecified vehicle occupied by two people, for some reason, drove over the curb and a walkway before colliding with the medical building. The vehicle reportedly plummeted down a set of stairs and collided with an electric box and railing. 

The two occupants of the crashed vehicle sustained minor injuries and were transported to another hospital for treatment. Their names, ages, and genders, including their current condition, were not provided.

The circumstances surrounding the single-vehicle collision are still under investigation. As of now, it is unclear if alcohol, drugs, or speeding played a role in it.

Cal Fire reported that no damage was caused to Five Cities Medical Imaging despite the incident.
