[07-18-2026] Ventura County, CA – E-Bike Rider Killed in Collision on Las Posas Rd. in Camarillo

An Oxnard man was killed in an e-bike collision in Camarillo early Saturday morning, July 18, 2026.

According to authorities, deputies from the Camarillo Patrol unit responded around 2:20 a.m. to the 3900 block of Las Posas Road after reports of a traffic collision.

At the scene, officials located the e-bike in one of the lanes, while the victim was found nearby in the center divider. Despite lifesaving efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation. Authorities have not confirmed whether another vehicle was involved or if the crash was a solo incident. The victim’s identity has not been released.
