Two people were injured after a single-vehicle crash near North Highlands, Sacramento County, on Thursday evening, July 18, 2024.

According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the crash happened shortly before 7:10 p.m. on Business 80.

Authorities stated that an unspecified vehicle went over the embankment at the I-80 connector to Business 80 for unknown reasons. There is no word yet if there are other vehicles involved in the crash.
