[07-16-2024] Napa County, CA – Driver Possibly Injured After Two-Vehicle Hit-And-Run Collision in American Canyon

[07-16-2024] Driver Possibly Injured After Two-Vehicle Hit-And-Run Collision in American Canyon A driver was possibly injured after a two-vehicle hit-and-run collision in American Canyon on Tuesday night, July 16, 2024. 

According to the American Canyon Police Department, the crash happened at about 8:00 p.m. on Highway 29. 

Authorities stated that a BMW and a Toyota Corolla were involved in the collision. There is no word yet on how the incident occurred, but an arriving officer found the BMW driver fleeing and jumping into the rear of a black Nissan after the crash. The police followed the Nissan and performed a vehicle stop near Kimberly Drive. 

Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota, whose name, age, and gender were not immediately known, was possibly injured due to the impact of the collision. The potential injuries, as well as the current condition of the Toyota driver, have yet to be confirmed by the authorities. 

The hit-and-run driver was identified as 23-year-old Antwain W. by the police. He was arrested and booked into the Napa County jail for leaving the scene of an accident and driving without a license. 

More information will be disclosed as the investigation progresses.
