A suspected drunk driver caused a multi-vehicle crash involving a bus in Sacramento on Tuesday night, July 15, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to the area of Arden Way and Heritage Lane after reports of a collision. A Sacramento Regional Transit bus and two other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Police stated that the incident caused only minor injuries. The crash also damaged a fire hydrant, resulting in a water leak.
Authorities closed surrounding roadways while they investigated the scene. The crash is being treated as a DUI and hit-and-run incident. The suspect was transported to a hospital.
The investigation remains ongoing.
