An employee was killed in an industrial accident at a burrito factory in Vernon on Sunday night, July 13, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, personnel responded around 9:30 p.m. to a report of a fire at the factory located at 2628 East Vernon Avenue and Soto Street.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that one individual had died at the scene.
The factory has been temporarily closed while the incident remains under investigation. No further details have been released.
