A motorcyclist was killed after a collision on Highway 87 in San Jose early Saturday morning, July 12, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:15 a.m. on the southbound side of the highway near Alma Avenue.
Authorities reported that a 33-year-old San Jose man was riding a 2000 Harley-Davidson when he rear-ended a 2024 Ford Bronco.
The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle. He was found unresponsive on the right shoulder and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
CHP stated that drugs and alcohol are not believed to have played a role in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
