[07-11-2024] Two People Injured Following Four-Vehicle Collision in Mead Valley Two people were injured following a four-vehicle collision in Mead Valley, Riverside County, on Thursday morning, July 11, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened just after 11:00 a.m. at Brown Street and Cajalco Road. 

Authorities stated that three pickup trucks and an SUV were involved in the collision. It is unknown how the collision occurred, but all four vehicles sustained significant damage and required tows.

Two people were reportedly injured following the crash. One of them sustained major injuries and was transported to the Riverside University Medical Center for treatment. Meanwhile, the other victim suffered unknown injuries and was also taken to the same medical facility. 

There is no word yet on the identities of the victims, including their names, ages, and genders. As of this writing, their condition remains unclear. 

Drugs, alcohol, and speeding were being investigated as factors in the collision. The authorities are asking anyone with information or who has witnessed the incident to contact them.
