[07-09-2025] Stanislaus County, CA – One Killed, Another Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Geer Road and Christoffersen Parkway

A person was killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Turlock on Wednesday night, July 9, 2025.

According to the Modesto Fire Department, the crash happened around 11:25 p.m. at the intersection of Geer Road and Christoffersen Parkway.

Emergency personnel arrived to find both vehicles blocking the roadway, with one showing significant front-end damage near a streetlight.

Officials said one driver was pinned inside their vehicle and suffered cardiac arrest. Despite CPR efforts at the scene and during extrication, the individual was pronounced dead.

The other driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. No identifying details have been released for either party.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities have not confirmed whether alcohol or drugs were involved.
