[07-09-2024] Three People Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Crash in Victorville Three people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in Victorville on Tuesday morning, July 9, 2024. 

According to the Victorville City Fire Department, the collision happened around 11:25 a.m. on Topango Road near Mojave Drive. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved a black Kia Optima, a black GMC Sierra, a burgundy Honda Accord, and an unidentified burgundy SUV. Details on how the incident occurred were not provided but one of the involved vehicles was found overturned in the desert. 

One individual sustained major injuries and was transported via medical helicopter to a trauma center. Meanwhile, two other victims suffered unknown injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals via ground ambulances. 

There is no information available on the victims’ condition. As of this writing, their identities have not been disclosed. 

Officials closed Mojave Drive between Amargosa Road and Don Roberto Road for safety while they continue the investigation. Motorists were advised to use alternative routes if possible.

The official cause of the crash is unclear. Police work is underway.
