A 24-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV in Foresthill, Placer County, on Monday afternoon, July 7, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 12:05 p.m. at the intersection of Foresthill Road and Happy Pines Drive. The vehicles involved were a black Yamaha motorcycle and a purple GMC Acadia SUV.
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office identified the deceased as Patrick M., who was riding the motorcycle at the time of the collision.
Few details have been released regarding the circumstances of the crash. Authorities are urging witnesses or anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the incident to contact the Auburn Area CHP office at (916) 663-3344.
