[07-07-2024] Several People Injured Following Multi-Vehicle DUI Collision in VictorvilleSeveral people were injured following a multi-vehicle DUI collision in Victorville on Sunday evening, July 7, 2024. 

According to the Victorville Police Department, the crash happened around 7:11 p.m. at the intersection of Hesperia and Nisqualli Roads.

Authorities stated that a 2023 silver Kia Forte, a 2001 Chevy Tahoe, and a blue 2006 Scion TC were involved in the collision. Upon the police’s arrival, they found the Chevy blocking the eastbound lanes while the other two vehicles were situated on the sidewalk near a bus stop. 

Details on how the collision occurred remain unclear, but responding officials confirmed that multiple occupants from all vehicles involved were transported to the hospital. As of this writing, there is no word yet on the extent of their injuries or their present condition.

The police were able to identify the driver of the 2023 silver Kia Forte as 49-year-old Alejandro S. from Adelanto and arrested him for driving under the influence of alcohol, causing bodily injury. 

Further details regarding the crash have yet to be released by the authorities. 

Investigations are ongoing.
