A man suffered major injuries after apparently falling onto the northbound Harbor (110) Freeway and being struck by a vehicle in South Los Angeles on Sunday evening, July 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at approximately 5:38 p.m. beneath the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway interchange.
Witnesses told CHP that the man appeared disoriented and was found without shoes, which were also seen scattered in traffic lanes.
CHP officers arrived and halted traffic in all lanes to allow paramedics to safely transport the man to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Authorities noted that a person in a black BMW on the right shoulder may have been involved in the crash. The driver was reportedly uncooperative, and officers broke the vehicle’s windows to detain the individual.
It was not immediately clear whether an arrest was made. The incident remains under investigation.
