One person was hospitalized after a vehicle overturned in a crash on South Mission Road in San Diego County on Saturday morning, July 5, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 8:30 a.m. just south of Baja Mission Road.
The incident involved a dark gray Dodge Ram pickup that struck a metal power pole. One of the vehicles overturned and came to rest on its roof, while another vehicle came to rest on the roadside.
Emergency crews responded promptly, and the injured individual was transported to Palomar Hospital for treatment.
Officials confirmed that the power pole remained standing and no power lines were down.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
