[07-04-2026] Riverside County, CA – Man Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City

A man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Cathedral City on Saturday afternoon, July 4, 2026.

According to reports, the collision occurred shortly before 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Via Colusa and Date Palm Drive.

The crash blocked all southbound lanes of Date Palm Drive while emergency crews responded and cleared the scene.

A man involved in the collision was able to exit his vehicle and was treated by paramedics for an apparent head injury. The extent of his injuries has not been released.
