A woman sustained injuries and was hospitalized following a car crash in Sacramento County, south of Elk Grove, on Thursday afternoon, July 3, 2025.
According to dispatcher radio communications, the incident occurred at approximately 12:03 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5, just south of Hood Franklin Road.
It is currently unclear what led to the crash or how many vehicles were involved. Emergency medical services transported the injured woman to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
