Multiple people were injured after a city bus overturned in Lancaster on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred near Sierra Highway and West Avenue C after the bus crossed railroad tracks and rolled onto its side. Rescue crews responded to the scene, reporting as many as 20 patients.
Among the injured was an 8-year-old boy who was considered in stable condition. A medical helicopter was requested to transport him for further treatment.
Several ambulances were dispatched to the site, and emergency responders continued to assess the situation.
The exact cause of the crash is under investigation.
