[06-29-2026] Santa Barbara County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Tesla in Goleta

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a black Tesla on northbound Highway 101 in Goleta on Monday afternoon, June 29, 2026.

According to Santa Barbara County Fire Department officials, emergency crews responded to the incident at around 4:20 p.m. just past the Storke Road off-ramp.

The motorcycle rider was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported. 

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
