[06-26-2025] San Bernardino County, CA – Driver Airlifted After Being Trapped in Crash with Tractor-Trailer on Hesperia Road

A pickup truck driver was seriously injured and had to be extricated following a collision with a tractor-trailer in Hesperia on Thursday night, June 26, 2025.

The crash occurred around 8:42 p.m. on Hesperia Road, just north of Lemon Street. According to San Bernardino County Fire, the driver of the pickup was pinned inside the wreckage and required over 30 minutes of extrication by firefighters.

A medical helicopter was requested to land at Desert Valley Hospital for the rapid transport of the injured driver.

As of 9:20 p.m., emergency crews were still working at the scene. Hesperia Road was shut down between Lemon and Mesa Street to allow emergency operations.

The Hesperia Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
