A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Sylmar, Los Angeles, on Monday morning, June 24, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 2:15 a.m. on Foothill Boulevard at Arroyo Street.
Authorities stated that a man, who appears to be in his 60s, was crossing a Sylmar street outside of a crosswalk when he was hit by an SUV. The victim, whose name was not disclosed, sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. There is no word yet on what the man was doing before the crash.
