[06-22-2026] Riverside County, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash in La Quinta

One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in La Quinta, Riverside County, on Monday afternoon, June 22, 2026.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, officers responded to the incident shortly after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Street and Lake La Quinta Drive.

Paramedics evaluated both drivers at the scene. One driver was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries and was reported to be in stable condition. The second driver remained on scene and was not injured.

Authorities confirmed that the uninjured driver cooperated with investigators. No arrests or citations have been issued. 

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
