One person sustained major injuries in a two-vehicle crash in Smith River, Del Norte County, on Monday afternoon, June 22, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 4:07 p.m. on U.S. Highway 101 near Salmon Harbor Road.
