[06-22-2025] Four Injured in Head-On Crash Involving SacRT Bus on Marconi AvenueFour people were hospitalized, including two in critical condition, following a crash involving a Sacramento Regional Transit bus and a car in Sacramento on Sunday afternoon, June 232, 2025.

According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the collision occurred just before 4:30 p.m. on Marconi Avenue near the point where it becomes Arcade Boulevard.

Initial reports from SacRT indicated that the car swerved into the path of the bus, resulting in a head-on collision. 

The crash involved a total of seven people. Two occupants of the car were transported to the hospital in critical condition, while two bus passengers, including the bus operator, were also taken to the hospital. Three additional passengers on the bus declined medical transport.

SacRT confirmed that no life-threatening injuries have been reported at this time and stated they are cooperating with law enforcement and emergency responders in the ongoing investigation.
