[06-21-2026] Butte County, CA – Four Hospitalized After Rollover Crash Near Oroville

Four people were hospitalized following a rollover crash on Lumpkin Road near Oroville on Sunday evening, June 21, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 6 p.m. when a vehicle rolled down a cliff off Lumpkin Road above the former Gold Flake Saloon, about 10 miles east of Oroville. 

The vehicle was occupied by three women and a 3-year-old boy. Two women and the child reached a parking lot, where a passing motorist took them to a hospital.

CHP identified the driver as Sarah J., 36, of Oroville, who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. 

The extent of injuries has not been released. CHP continues to investigate the incident.
