[06-20-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle on Southbound 101 Freeway

A 78-year-old man, identified as Myong P., was killed after being struck by a vehicle on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday morning, June 20, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 3:30 a.m., just south of Alameda Street. 

It was unclear why the man was walking on the freeway. No additional details regarding the circumstances of the crash have been released.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
