[06-19-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Lancaster

A 40-year-old woman, identified as Heather D., was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Lancaster on Friday morning, June 19, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded around 12:59 a.m. to the intersection of West Avenue M and Fourth Street West after reports of a person lying in the roadway.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force injuries. Information regarding the suspect vehicle has not been released.
