[06-19-2025] Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Main Street Near Cataba Road in HesperiaA pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle along Main Street in Hesperia early Thursday morning, June 19, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the incident occurred at approximately 2:52 a.m. on Main Street, just east of Cataba Road, near the exit of a 76 gas station. 

Emergency personnel arrived and pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. Authorities have not yet confirmed the victim’s gender and identity, gender.

The involved vehicle was a silver 2016 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ Limited driven by an adult female. She remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies. The car sustained front passenger-side damage and came to a stop just west of the intersection on Main Street.

Deputies from the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station closed westbound lanes of Main Street at Key Pointe Drive while they conducted their investigation. Hesperia Public Works also responded to assist with traffic control.

The investigation is ongoing.
