A rider was killed after a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Riverside County on Tuesday evening, June 18, 2024.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the fatal accident happened at about 7:33 p.m. at Fairview Avenue and Bautista Road, just south of Valle Vista.
The crash involved a motorcycle and a pickup truck. The make or model of both vehicles has not been disclosed. How the two vehicles collided, and the circumstances behind the incident are still unclear.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by the responding medical crew. At the time of writing, the name, age, and gender of the deceased were not provided. On the other hand, the pickup truck driver was said to be uninjured.
Riverside County Fire Department has since turned over the incident to law enforcement. The cause of the crash and any factors that may have contributed to it are still under investigation.
