A 54-year-old man was killed after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in the Bay Park neighborhood of San Diego on Sunday night, June 15, 2025.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the collision occurred shortly after 9:00 p.m. as the man was walking westbound in the south crosswalk of Clairemont Drive at Iroquois Avenue.
The 54-year-old man was struck by a Honda Civic sedan driven by a 56-year-old man. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Authorities stated that DUI was not a factor in the crash. Investigators have not yet determined fault, and the case is being handled by traffic officers.
