A crash on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge caused injuries and significant traffic delays in Richmond on Thursday morning, June 12, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. on westbound Interstate 580, just west of the bridge’s toll plaza.
CHP issued a severe traffic alert following the crash, which resulted in the temporary closure of the span’s left lane.
