A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in San Francisco on early Monday morning, June 10, 2024.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the collision happened around 3:41 a.m. at the 3400 block of Mission Street in Bernal Heights.
Authorities stated that an injured man was found along Mission Street after being hit by an unidentified vehicle. The victim was transported to the nearest hospital but later died despite the life-saving measures performed by the emergency responders. There was no additional information on the identity of the deceased.
Police said the vehicle’s driver fled the scene and refused to call the authorities. No arrests have been made, but the responding officers are still searching for any information that could lead to the suspect.
