[06-09-2026] Solano County, CA – DUI Driver Causes Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80

A DUI driver caused a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 in Solano County on Tuesday night, June 9, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred in the westbound lanes when a Nissan traveling under the influence, with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit, collided with another vehicle. The Nissan lost control and was struck by a tank truck that had overturned.

Authorities reported that no one was seriously injured, in part because all occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
