[06-09-2026] Riverside County, CA – Two Killed, Three Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash Near Hemet

Two people were killed, and three others were injured following a three-vehicle crash near Hemet on Tuesday evening, June 9, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported shortly before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Ramona Expressway and Lincoln Avenue.

Authorities stated that an 18-year-old Hemet woman driving a Nissan Rogue northbound in the left-turn lane of Lincoln Avenue collided with a 41-year-old Hemet man driving a Nissan Versa eastbound on Ramona Expressway. The impact caused the Versa to spin into the westbound lanes of Ramona Expressway and collide with a Ford Mustang Mach-E.

The driver of the Nissan Versa and a male juvenile passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released.

The driver and passenger of the Nissan Rogue and the driver of the Ford Mustang Mach-E were transported to Riverside University Health System with unspecified injuries.

Authorities stated that it is not yet known whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
