One person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Phelan, San Bernardino County, on Saturday morning, June 8, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 11:40 a.m. on Sheep Creek Road near Chevoit Road.
Police said the collision involved a Chevrolet Silverado and a Chevrolet Traverse. Details on how the incident occurred were not clear, but initial investigations show that the Silverado overturned due to the severity of the crash.
Emergency responders immediately arrived on the scene and confirmed that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene. The name, age, and gender of that person were undisclosed. At this time, it is unknown if anyone else was injured.
