One person was killed, and another was injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Orange on early Saturday morning, June 8, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 3:35 a.m. on the northbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway at the Garden Grove (22) Freeway.
Officials said that one person was declared dead at the scene, and at least one person was transported to the hospital. The extent of injuries and the condition of the latter victim remain unclear. At this time, the identities of the parties involved were not disclosed.
