A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Modesto on Friday night, June 7, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal pedestrian vs. vehicle crash occurred at about 8:27 p.m. along Crows Landing Road near the southbound onramp to State Route 99.
The victim, whose name, age, and gender were not disclosed yet, was declared dead on the scene. What the victim was doing along the roadway at the time of the crash is unknown.
The circumstances behind the deadly collision and whether or not the driver that struck the pedestrian remained on the scene were still unclear.
