A 10-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a vehicle while biking to school in Elk Grove on Friday morning, June 6, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. near Barrymore and Underhill Drives.
The child’s bicycle ended up beneath the vehicle, and he sustained abrasions to his leg.
The boy, identified as a student at Case Elementary School, was taken to a hospital as a precaution.
Authorities are still investigating the circumstances that led to the crash.
