[06-03-2026] Orange County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle in Newport Beach

A 69-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Newport Beach on Wednesday afternoon, June 3, 2026.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 4 p.m. in the 3400 block of Irvine Avenue, near Bristol Street. The victim, identified as MaryAnn C., was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said that the driver and passengers of the vehicle were transported to nearby hospitals for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
