[06-03-2024] One Person Seriously Injured After Getting Hit by Truck in OildaleOne person was seriously injured after getting hit by a truck in Oildale, Kern County, on Monday night, June 3, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 10:07 p.m. in the area of Diane Drive and Douglas Street.

A witness told the CHP that a man fell outside the back of a vehicle and was run over by a truck. It is said that the man was transported to a local hospital after sustaining serious injuries to the head.

The victim’s name, age, and origin were not disclosed at this time. 

The authorities are still gathering all the evidence they could find at the crash site to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

No additional information was immediately available. The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is now handling the ongoing investigation.
