A driver was arrested for driving under the influence following a wrong-way crash in Merced County on Sunday, June 1, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, graveyard units responded to a collision on Highway 99 involving a vehicle that was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes near Mission Campus.
Authorities confirmed that the driver responsible for the crash was arrested at the scene on DUI charges. No major injuries were reported.
