[05-30-2026] Ventura County, CA – Biker Killed in Hit-and-Run Collision in Oxnard

A 53-year-old man was killed after being struck by a car in Oxnard on Saturday afternoon, May 30, 2026.

According to the Oxnard Police Department, officers responded to the incident just after 4:00 p.m. near Fifth Street and Harbor Boulevard. The victim was found lying on the side of Fifth Street and was pronounced dead.

Authorities reported that the biker was traveling east when he was struck by a car also going east. The driver of the car fled the scene following the collision.

It is unknown whether impairment played a role in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
