At least one person was injured after a vehicle vs. box truck collision in San Joaquin County on Thursday afternoon, May 30, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic crash happened at about 3:05 p.m. on Highway 99 near Peltier Road, just outside Collierville.
Upon arrival, officers found the crashed vehicle and box truck blocking the roadway. The circumstances behind the incident are still unclear.
The total number of people involved was also not available as of yet, but CHP reported that at least one of them was confirmed to be injured. This individual’s injury and identity were not disclosed at this time.
