[05-29-2026] San Diego County, CA – Woman Arrested for DUI After Crash Injures Four on Bermuda Ave. in Ocean Beach

A 37-year-old woman was arrested following a DUI crash in Ocean Beach, San Diego County, that injured her and three occupants of another vehicle on Friday afternoon, May 29, 2026.

According to the San Diego Police Department, officers responded around 3:55 p.m. to the intersection of Ebers Street and Bermuda Avenue.

Authorities reported that the suspect, driving a 2009 Mazda 6 eastbound on Bermuda Avenue, failed to stop at the stop sign at Ebers Street and struck the left rear of a Chevrolet Bolt driven by a 42-year-old man.

The suspect continued eastbound and struck two unoccupied parked vehicles. Emergency responders transported all injured parties to a hospital.

A passenger in the Bolt, an 11-year-old girl, sustained a fractured pelvis, while an 8-year-old boy suffered abrasions. The driver of the Bolt reported pain, and the Mazda driver sustained a collapsed lung.

The suspect was arrested for driving under the influence, causing injury, and felony hit-and-run.
