[05-28-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Rider Killed, Passenger Injured in Collision With Vehicle in Hesperia

A 47-year-old man was killed, and his 44-year-old female passenger was injured following a traffic collision in Hesperia on Thursday afternoon, May 28, 2026.

According to the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station, the crash occurred around 1:24 p.m. at the intersection of Choiceana Avenue and Live Oak Street.

Preliminary investigation indicates that the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Choiceana Avenue when it collided with a vehicle in the intersection. Both the motorcycle and the silver Infiniti sedan sustained severe damage. Debris and personal belongings were scattered throughout the intersection.

Authorities reported that both the rider and passenger were transported to local hospitals. Despite life-saving efforts, the male rider later succumbed to his injuries, while the female passenger remains hospitalized. The driver of the Infiniti remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The Hesperia Sheriff’s Station continues to investigate the cause of the collision.
