Two people were hospitalized following a crash involving a wrong-way driver on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach early Monday morning, May 25, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported just after 12:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes along the Gerald Desmond Bridge.
Authorities stated that two individuals were transported to a hospital, though it was unclear whether they were in the same vehicle or in their current conditions.
Officials also noted that it has not yet been determined if impairment or speed contributed to the crash.
