[05-24-2026] San Mateo County, CA – Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash in Redwood City

A 72-year-old woman, identified as Maria T., was killed in a hit-and-run collision in Redwood City on Sunday evening, May 24, 2026.

According to the Redwood City Police Department, the crash was reported around 9:45 p.m. near the intersection of Middlefield Road and Beech Street.

Authorities stated that the woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. 

Officials said the suspect vehicle involved was a white truck. No additional details about the crash or the driver have been released.

The case remains under active investigation.
