A big rig driver suffered major injuries after crashing through a sound wall and colliding with another vehicle on the Foothill (210) Freeway in Arcadia early Friday morning, May 23, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 2:28 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near the Baldwin Avenue exit.
The overturned semi struck a vehicle in the slow lane before veering off the freeway and through a sound wall, trapping the driver inside the cab.
Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded to the scene and freed the injured driver, who was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of injuries to the other driver involved was not specified.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
